'72 is frequently problematic. With such a loud, squeaky-clean sound system, you almost can't tune your instruments enough.

Fine ensemble playing all around. This show has one of the best Cold Rain's. Greatest has a nice jam at least. The Sugar Magnolia (specifically) impresses. 9/27 is one of the best of the year and 9/28 gets a lot of attention (rightly so), but this show has it's moments.

weird shit?
This is a great show, every one from this Stanley theater run is in fact. check out the He's Gone - its an amazing version - but what's up with bobby's playing at the beginning? he's playing the chords to Bird Song, then switches to he's gone. was he zonked momentarily, or was it some kind of unusually placed tease??
